In recent wanderings

At the moment Maddy and I are enjoying our 2 week holidays, though we're meant to be studying for upcoming exams I seem to find myself procrastinating an awful lot. However, while browsing through the interwebs I stumbled across these gorgeous necklaces at 'Guilded Butterflies'.It was kinda love at first sight. They're made from real butterflies in little ol' New Zealand by Lisa Black. The only problem would be choosing which one I like the most..

So waaaay back in um... August? I think it was, Maddy and I had our school ball. We're both year 12 so it was our first one and it was so much fun. Getting hair and make-up done was awesome, I could do that ANY day ;) Our friends + partners all went to our friend Phoebe's house for the pre-ball and then went into The Civic for the actual ball.Soooo much dancing, music and heaps of food definitely = a GREAT night. After the ball itself we all went back to Phoebe's again, got dressed into something a little easier to dance around in and partied til the early hours of the morning.

I got Friday on my mind













On Friday, Maddy and I were lucky enough to have the day off school for a teacher only day. So naturally we spent the day op-shopping and behaving like social-weirdos in the park :)We both scored some amazing finds in the shops .Maddy bought a few clothes and I stocked up on books. Oh and the Auckland weather is FINALLY getting warm and sunny again! Makes me want summer to arrive even quicker!

Marist Day

Last week our school had the annual Marist Day. A day where we go to mass in the morning then we get into costumes according to the theme, we spend the day watching senior performances and having a good time. This year the theme was Marist on TV, so Maddy dressed up as a character from Gossip Girl and Nicole dresses up as Batman.

An EXTREMELY overdue post

Okay, this post is very late. And by very late I mean I can't even remember the last time we posted... However, it's not healthy nor productive to dwell on the past so let's just forget this ever happened and instead enjoy our new posts :)
In our absence there has been so much going on! We've had holidays, trips overseas (well maddy has anyway), a school production, our school ball etc so there will be plenty of posts coming along soon. But we'll leave you with a quick photo of our school ball before we go

1950's party time.

 So a few weeks back our friend Jenna held a 1950's themed party for her sixteenth. It was heaps of fun to see everyone dressed up and we spent the night dancing wildly and drinking coke in glass bottles.

So, thought we should introduce ourselves. My name's Nicole and I'm on the left, and Maddy (Madeleine), the other half behind this blog is on the right.
